Investing in IPOs, Version 2.0
Published in Hardcover by Bloomberg Pr (March, 2001)
Authors: Tom Taulli and Steve Harmon
Average review score:

Highly Recommended!
I got burned in the past -- especially with dot-com IPOs. But after reading Taulli's book, I realized that there are many things an individual investor can do. In fact, using Taulli's book this year, I've made money on the IPOs I participated in. Taulli makes everything very clear. What's more, he does not just focus on tech. He talks about the nuts and bolts of IPOs. He also covers such areas as biotech, retail (there is even mention of Krispy Kreme). This book is certainly highly recommended.

Life Sketches of Ellen G. White: An Autobiography
Published in Hardcover by Pacific Press Publishing Association (December, 1943)
Author: Ellen Gould Harmon White
Average review score:

A Woman Chosen by God!
Ellen White was an amazing woman who wrote more books than any other female writer ever (and I think that the only man that surpassed her was Benjamin Franklin). You wouldn't know it to read one of her books but she only had a third-grade education! God truly inspired her writings and her life was an awesome testimony to God's ability to use anyone in any station in life. Her biography is very interesting and fantastic!

Mind, Character and Personality: Guidelines to Mental and Spiritual Health (Christian Home Library)

Mind, Character and Personality
This is an execellent book. The author is truly inspired by God. She addresses practically every conflict or controversy that may arise in life. Anywhere from concerns of the roles of a husband and wife in a marriage to how a single person can survive as a Christian or, even how diet effects an individual's mind and spirit. I had searched high and low for this publication. After reading a friend's copy I had to purchase my own personal copy. I think every Christian should have this book as part of their home library.

Miracle at Manassas is Great Read
I thoroughly enjoyed M@M. It's a quick read, which is a good thing because it's hard to put down once you start reading. It's a great combination of history, current events, ghost story and love story. I'd love to see more in a similar series.

My Lady Pirate

I liked it a lot!
I really liked Gray. He was gorgeous and truly a gallant knight. I loved the way he wrote her love letters and sent her gifts. I loved his heart. He was wonderful. The story was exciting, too and the ending was all a romatic heart could hope for.

One flag, one country, and thirteen greenbacks a month : letters from a Civil War private and his colonel
Published in Unknown Binding by Hunter Publications ()
Author: Edna J. Hunter
Average review score:

Just One Man's Personal Story
It is difficult for me to be impartial about this book as I am a descendant nephew of John Daniel. The book is alive as you can see the copies of the actual letters accompanied by the "translation". I was enthralled by this book - following John step-by-step through the campaigns and then to find out that he was killed in the battle of Atlanta. His final letter is reminiscent of a Hollywood war film - surprising for a man with his background. I was stunned and excited to find out that his grave is only an hour from my home. Great story about my Great-Great Uncle.

This is a rare "un-filtered" story about the Civil War.
